Tom is a highly experienced energy projects executive with a proven track record leading large-scale onshore and offshore energy developments globally; and has extensive experience in managing large EPC and EPCM projects for the owner. He is currently Director of the Louisiana LNG Project for Woodside Energy, overseeing the delivery of the 17.5Bn liquefied natural gas (LNG) development in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Since joining Woodside in 2004, Tom has progressed from offshore projects and operations into senior project leadership roles across Australia, the United States, the UK, Malaysia and Singapore, most recently serving as Project Manager for the Pluto Train 2 LNG Project, in Karratha Western Australia.
Tom brings deep expertise in project development and execution, contracting strategy and commercial management; with a strong focus on driving delivery excellence and value creation across major capital projects. He is also passionate about developing local capability within the communities where he works, prioritizing workforce development, supplier participation, and sustainable economic growth across his projects. Tom is a champion of innovation and digital enablement, he is passionate about building organisational capability and integrating new technologies to efficiently commercialise natural gas as a critical transition fuel supporting the global energy transition.
Tom currently serves as a Director of Woodside’s US and North American businesses and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Diploma in Project Management.
